This website is a collection of all the recipes I've clipped since 2008. I've also listed some of my favorite dishes from The Cooking Channel and The Food Network as well.  I'm in the process of "linking" each listing to its recipe but this is going to be a LONG process. The website lists under "More" are, for now, just lists of suggestions for dishes to cook. I've organized the lists and subpages of lists with my own cooking genre labels. I now view cooking by "genre" mostly because of GingerlovestoCook.com. I have created 28 genres. For example, BISCUIT is any type of savory bread or muffin that must be baked. CUPCAKE is a sweet bread, cake or treat that is baked. PIZZA is a savory pie, tartine, flatbread or bruschetta, a savory flat food with savory toppings.

These labels helped me mentally organize all the recipes I've collected but they were also created and defined by the technique, level of effort or "longevity" of a dish. I love casseroles and rice dishes because they're easy and last all week. I love haystacks because they're easy and I can make a lot of them for gifts. Kebabs, smoothies or salads would be a recipe for a single meal. Maybe these genres won't work for everyone but they help me plan.
