New Orleans is my third favorite city in the world right after Paris and New York.  I have so many wonderful memories of all kinds of fun in this city.  There is no place as laid-back as this city. 

There is so much food in the French Quarter in New Orleans.  I have been to New Orleans so many times that I've lost count.  I hope to spend a week there soon and chronicle as many restaurants as possible.  For now I will share my favorite restaurant in New Orleans and possibly the whole world. It is in the Garden District of New Orleans on Magazine Street.  The restaurant is called Rum House.  It is Caribbean/Southern fusion.  I love everything on the menu. 

Sucre.  After stuffing ourselves with Caribbean food we always walk over to Sucre for dessert.  I buy a box of macarons filled with pecan, chicory and pistachio flavored ones.  The pecan is amazing!
